This website has been compiled to provide you, our valued client, with important information regarding the transportation of pets by air or by road. Apart from the fact that pets form part of your family, it is essential to us that they are afforded the best attention at all time. General Information
It is essential that you are aware of the possibility that veterinary rabies and/or health certificates may be required when pets are to be transported.
Dogs and cats to, from or through rabies infected areas in South Africa must be vaccinated against rabies.
Dogs and cats destined to neighbouring and international destinations must be vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days prior to departure. In addition, a Health Certificate issued by your local veterinarian approximately 7 days before departure is also required. The State Veterinarian must endorse this document. Certain countries may also require import permits and/or quarantine. Please contact us in this regard.
